Biography
Born July 25, 1916 in the village. Talitsa [1] (now Babushkinsky district , Vologda region ) in the family of a peasant . Russian He graduated from elementary school, then worked on a collective farm .
In the Red Army since 1937. Member of the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940. In 1941 he graduated from the Sukhumi Military Infantry School. Member of World War II from June 1941 - fought in the foothills of the Caucasus , on the Don , liberated Ukraine.
The commander of the company of the 814th rifle regiment, the Komsomol member, senior lieutenant Pyotr Vlasov, with the company among the first in the regiment , crossed the Dnieper River on September 26, 1943 and seized the bridgehead in the area of s. Soshinovka ( Verkhnedneprovsky district of Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine) and steadfastly held him, reflecting the enemy’s counterattacks.
He died in battle on September 29, 1943 . He was buried northeast of the village of Soshinovka.
