Bluebird Airways is a Greek airline based at Heraklion's Nikos Kazantzakis Airport in Crete . Created in 2008. The headquarters of the company is also located in Heraklion [3] .

Fleet
As of 2014, the airline fleet consists of one Boeing 737-400 , released in 1997 for Asiana Airlines [5] . In April 2013, Bluebird reconstructed the aircraft, replacing the interior and passenger seats on board [6] .

Also in operation was the MD-83 aircraft, which, according to official figures, from the beginning of 2011 transferred to another Greek airline SkyExpress [8] . However, on June 22, 2013, the same board again passed to Bluebird Airways on a lease from Tend Air [9] .
