Nigerian stock exchange

Nigerian Stock Exchange - Founded in 1960 as the Lagos Stock Exchange , trading began in 1961 . In 1977, received its current name. Located in Lagos , has six representative offices in the country. It trades stocks and bonds . In 1998, the government commission tried to return the exchange to its former name, but the NSE leadership prevented this, believing that it would lower it to the level of the regional platform. It is owned by stockbroking brokerage companies, with the Nigerian Stock Exchange's All Share Index (NSE) as its main stock index.
