Biography
Audrey Ferris was born on August 30, 1909 in Detroit , Michigan . She danced on the stage of the theater in Los Angeles , where in 1926 one of the producers of Warner Studios drew attention to her [1] . The film company signed a contract with Ferris, and in 1927 she made her film debut, playing a minor role in the drama " Women's Law ". In the same year, she played one of the chorus girls in the melodrama musical " Jazz Singer ", which was very successful at the box office and raised $ 3 million.
In 1928, she entered the WAMPAS Baby Stars list, where promising young actresses were annually elected. Ferris provided press support, widely publicized as one of the most promising newcomers of the year.
