Biography
Born in the village of Lisichino , Starorussky district, Novgorod region . He graduated from the Jung school in 1916, the educational and methodical association of the Baltic Fleet in 1918. Since 1918, he served as the Minor of the destroyer "Delny", and later as the foreman-miner of the battleship "Gangut". In 1922 he graduated from the School of Fleet Command, was appointed assistant commander of the submarine "AG-23" of the Black Sea Naval Forces.
In 1925 he graduated from the scuba diving class of the SKKS Naval Forces of the Red Army and became assistant commander of the submarine Nerpa (Politruk), since 1925 - assistant commander of the submarine Shakhtar (ex-AG-23), since 1926 - commander submarine "AG-24" ("Communist").
In 1931 he graduated from the naval faculty of the Naval Academy of the Red Army named after K. E. Voroshilov and was appointed commander of the 1st submarine division of the Black Sea Naval Forces.
In 1932 he was appointed commander of the 1st brigade of submarines of the Far East Naval Forces. At the end of 1935, he was awarded the military rank of flagship of the 2nd rank. In 1936 - military adviser in Spain, and after returning to the USSR - head of the naval inspection of the Navy .
In 1938, he was again appointed military adviser to the Spanish Republican Army. After returning - head of the naval inspection of the Navy (1938-1939).
He was imprisoned from December 1938 to February 1939, then reinstated in the Navy, was appointed authorized in the state acceptance of the Navy ships from industry. [one]
In 1940 he was appointed assistant to the department of tactics of the command fleet, in 1942 - acting assistant professor of the same department and representative of the Main Naval Headquarters. In 1943 he was appointed head of the naval group at the headquarters of the Far Eastern Front, then head of the Pacific Higher Naval School .
He died on May 9, 1945 from a heart attack . He was buried with military honors at the Vladivostok Sea Cemetery .
