Biography
Mark Davis was born on May 12, 1959 in the city of Manchester , United Kingdom . After graduating, Mark Davis attended the University of Durham .
On February 11, 1984, Mark Davis, after receiving a theological education at the seminary, was ordained a priest , after which he served as vicar in various parishes. From January 1988 to December 1992, he was the private secretary of Bishop Salford Patrick Kelly . From January 2003 to February 2009, he was Vicar General of the Diocese of Salford.
On December 22, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Mark Davies as the auxiliary bishop of the Shrewsbury diocese. On February 22, 2010, Mark Davis was ordained a bishop.
On October 1, 2010, Mark Davis was appointed Ordinary of the Shrewsbury Diocese.
