Sports career

  • Three-time Olympic champion in 1960 , 1968 , 1972 in the team championship in foil fencing, silver medalist in 1964 .
  • 5-time world champion 1963, 1965, 1966, 1970 in the team rapier and 1966 in the individual championship. Silver medalist of 1959, 1962, 1967, 1969 in the team championship, bronze medalist of 1959 in the individual foil.
  • Winner of the European Cup 1967, 1969 in team competitions. Silver medalist of the 1968 European Cup in team competition.
  • Eight-time champion of the USSR.

Biography

In 1962 she graduated from the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute with a degree in design engineer. Member of the CPSU since 1976.

After completing her sports career, she worked as a children's trainer, then director of a specialized school. In 1994, organized and headed the Belarusian Republican Fencing Club "Golden Blade".

She died on January 24, 2000. She was buried at the Eastern cemetery in Minsk [1] .
