Olga Vladimirovna Nazarova (Grigoryeva) ( June 1, 1965 , Tula , RSFSR , USSR ) - Soviet and Russian athlete , two-time Olympic champion in the relay 4x400 meters . Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1988).

Career

At the Olympics in Seoul, together with Tatyana Ledovskaya , Maria Pinigina and Olga Bryzgina, she set a world record in the relay race 4 × 400 meters - 3.15.17 [2] . This achievement continues to this day.

In the 400-meter race, Nazarova became the third, losing to Olga Bryzgina and Petra Muller (GDR).

In 1992, as part of the United Team with Elena Ruzina , Lyudmila Dzhigalova and Olga Bryzgina, she won the relay 4x400 meters for the second time.

Also became the winner and silver medalist of the world championships - in 1987 and 1991 .

Lives in Austin ( Texas , USA ) with her husband, former athlete Alexander Kurochkin, and three children. Coaches children in college. [3]
