The village of Novopetrovka is located on the regional highway Blagoveshchensk - Svobodny .
The village is located on the right bank of the Zeya River [2] , at an altitude of 125 m above sea level [3] .
The distance to the center of Blagoveshchensk is about 64 km (to the south).
