Lithobiidae (lat.) - a family of leg-footed centipedes . About 40 genera and 1000 species, including the well-known common drupes . Half of all species belong to the large genus Lithobius (about 500). Lithobiidae is the largest species family among all other millipedes, including Diplopoda [1] . Distributed around the world.

Body length up to 50 mm. The body consists of a head and a trunk (consists of 19 segments with 15 pairs of walking legs).
