Biography
Islam Bairamukov was born in the village of Kamenka, Dzhambul region in 1971, by nationality - Karachai [1] . From childhood, he gave preference to boxing, wrestling, reading, fiction and equestrian sports. Already in the sixth grade he became seriously interested in freestyle wrestling.
He graduated from the Republican College of Olympic Reserve (1989); Kazakh State Institute of Physical Culture (1993), teacher of physical education and sports (1993). From 1993 to 2004, he was an athlete-instructor of the State Enterprise "Directorate of full-time national teams and a sports reserve." Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in jurisprudence (2003), Moscow Social and Humanitarian University (finance and economics) (2005).
Winner of the USSR Cup in freestyle wrestling (1991). He is an honorary doctor of the Karachay-Cherkess State University named after Aliyev and deputy chairman of the Karachay-Balkarian "Birlik" at the Assembly of the People of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Honorary resident of the Lugovsky district. Honored Master of Sports in freestyle wrestling and Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was awarded the Order of Parasat (2000). From 2010 to the present - Advisor to the President of the Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on freestyle wrestling.
Islam Bayramukov, being a horse owner, takes part in major races in Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation. In 2005, he headed the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan on horseback riding (160 km) in Dubai (UAE). His horses are the winners of large races - such as the prize of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Derby and others. With the direct participation of Islam Bayramukov, the only certified hippodrome of the city of Almaty was saved from demolition.
