Neogeophilidae (lat.) - a family of leg-footed centipedes . It includes 2 genera and 4 species [2] . Neotropics . They are found in various ground shelters and humid places. They feed on a variety of small arthropods. Antennae 14-segmented. Ocellia absent. Mandibles with a series of simple teeth, without dentate lamella. The coxae of the anterior maxillas are completely separated, ending in a conical second segment. Claws of the front legs with a long tooth [3] .
