Buigorod volost - volost in Volokolamsk district of Moscow province . It existed until 1929. The center of the volost was the village of Buigorod .
According to the data of 1890, a volost government and a zemstvo school were located in the village of Buigorod. Zemstvo schools were also in the villages of Botovo and Spirovo . In the village of Utishevo was located the apartment of a police officer [1] .
According to 1921, there were 16 village councils in Buigorod volost: Bludsky , Bolshe-Stromilovsky , Botovsky , Buygorodsky , Valuykovsky, Veriginsky , Efimievsky, Efremovsky , Kalistovsky , Nosovsky , Pashkovsky, Popovkinsky , Remyaginsky , Spassky, Utishevsky.
In 1924, the Bludsky s / s was annexed to Bykovsky; Valuykovsky s / s renamed Rakhmanovsky , and Efimievsky - Otchishchevsky; Sofinsky s / s was formed.
In 1925, the Bludsky s / s was restored; Spassky s / s renamed Bortnikovsky ; Maleevsky, Spassky and Khrulevsky s / s were formed; Bolshe-Stromilovsky s / s was attached to the new Valuykovsky s / s; Otchishchevsky, Maleevsky and Sofinsky s / s were abolished.
In 1926, Efimievsky and Bolshe-Stromilovsky s / s were formed; Valuykovsky s / s was abolished.
In 1927, Rakhmanovsky s / s was renamed Valuykovsky, Bolshe-Stromilovsky - into Stromilovsky; Otchishchevsky and Strokovsky s / s were formed.
In 1929, Valuykovsky s / s was renamed Rakhmanovsky [2] .
During the reform of the administrative-territorial division of the USSR in 1929, the Buigorod volost was abolished, and its territory became part of the Volokolamsk district .
