Wahlage (Polish: Wachlarz “fan”): The code name for the special sub-AK unit. The decision on the creation of the unit was adopted by the Polish emigration government in August 1941. The task of the unit was reconnaissance and sabotage activities in the western territories of the USSR occupied by Germans ("east of the Soviet-Polish border of 1939").
The command was carried out from the leadership of the main command of the ZVZ in Warsaw. There were 5 operational districts - South (1st) and North (2nd) of Ukraine, Polesie (3rd), Belarus (4th), Inflants (5th). The boundaries of the districts on the map radially diverged east from Warsaw, resembling a fan (hence the name).
The organizational period lasted until the spring of 1942, sabotage tasks were carried out from the spring-summer of 1942. After the reorganization of the AK structure in the late 1942-early. In 1943, the unit became part of the Kedevo AK (command of sabotage).
