Sports Biography

Ekaterina Gnidenko made her first sports steps in sports school No. 8 under the leadership of Vladimir Eremin. At a very early age, Ekaterina Gnidenko announced herself. At the age of 16, she became the repeated winner of the Russian championship. In 2010, at the World Junior Championships, Gnidenko won two gold and one silver medal.

In 2012, at the World Championships in Melbourne, 20-year-old Gnidenko unexpectedly for many was able to win a silver medal in keyin. This medal was the first for the Russian team in the last 9 years in this discipline [1] .

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Gnidenko took part in competitions in keyin . Catherine quite confidently overcame the first round, losing in her race only to German Christine Vogel .
