Wrestling career

World Wrestling Entertainment

For the first time, Deeb was featured on World Wrestling Entertainment on May 19, 2009 during an ECW show on Sci Fi . She stood backstage when Finley spoke to the public. [9] However, Deeb herself denied having signed a contract with WWE [10] , and Shimmer promoter Dave Prazac confirmed that she only signed a contract on July 1, 2009 [1] [11] .

Florida Championship Wrestling (2009—2010)

On July 15, 2009, Serena made her WWE debut with the Florida Championship Wrestling . On it, in a team with Maria and Angela Fong, she defeated Natalya , Leila and Alicia Fox [1] [12] . In her first match, which was broadcast on television, she was stronger than Leila [13] . Soon, she changed her stage name to Serena Mansini, and later to Mia Mansini, under whom she played the role of the daughter of a mafia [14] [15] . On August 14, she won a four-way match for the right to take part in the fight against Angels for the FCW Queen title [1] [16] [17] . In the title match, she managed to keep Angela and became the second FCW Queen in history [1] [18] [19] . Later, she defended the title several times against such wrestlers as Tiffany [20] , Natalya, Savannah [15] and Gail Kim [14] [21] [22] . At the end of September, a backstage segment was shown in which an unknown person told Mansini to lose the championship to Angela, but she refused [23] . February 4, 2010 at the FCW show, AJ Lee defeated Serena, who combined her character with SmackDown with the role of Mansini, and became the new FCW Queen [1] . After this match, it was announced that a new champion title would be created - the champion of the FCW div and a tournament will be held to determine the champion. During the tournament, Serena defeated Aksana and AJ Lee, but lost to Naomi Knight in the final.
