Karen Yurievich Chshmaritian (in Armenian: Կարեն Յուրիկի Ճշմարիտյան , September 12, 1959 , Yerevan ) - Armenian statesman.

• 1976 - 1980 - Yerevan Institute of National Economy with a degree in Industrial Planning
• 1982 - 1985 - graduate school of the Yerevan Institute of National Economy.
• 1980 - economist in the Armenian branch of the Research Institute of Planning and Norms of the USSR State Planning Committee .
• 1981 - 1982 - served in the Soviet army.
• 1985 - 1990 - worked in the Gossnab of the Armenian SSR , held the positions of senior economist, chief specialist, head of the financial department.
• 1990 - 1991 - Deputy General Director of the Republican Association "Armelektromashopttorg" of the Gossnab of the Armenian SSR .
• 1991 - 1993 - Head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Material Resources of Armenia .
• 1993 - 1996 - Deputy Minister of Material Resources of Armenia .
• 1996 - 1997 - served as head of the foreign trade department of the Ministry of Trade, Services and Tourism of Armenia .
• 1997 - 1998 - First Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of Armenia .
• 1999 - 2002 - Minister of Trade and Industry of Armenia .
• 2002 - 2007 - Minister of Trade and Economic Development of Armenia
• May 12, 2007 - elected to parliament. Member of the Standing Committee on European Integration. Member of the RPA Party
• 2012 - elected to parliament. Member of the standing commission on state and legal issues. Member of the Republican Party of Armenia .
• On April 22, 2014 he was appointed Minister of Economy of Armenia.
