Content
Club career
Abbasov began his professional career as a football player in 1996 as part of the Tovuz Turan , where he played until 2001. In 2001, he transferred to the Neftchi club of Baku [2] .
In 2007, Abbasov signed a one-year contract with Baku Inter . At the end of the contract, in 2008, he returned to Neftchi [3] . However, he didn’t play for the club in the championship, soon moving to Turan.
In the 2010/2011 season, he played for Shamkir in the first division . In 2011, he returned to the Turanian “Turana” [4] , where he soon completed his playing career.
Azerbaijan Team
As part of the national team of Azerbaijan, he held two games in 2006.
