Biography
Benruby was born in Indianapolis , Indiana , in the family of Patricia and Asher Benruby. He was a rock singer, and is currently a radio host known as “Smash,” on St. Louis Radio. His grandfather was from a Greek-Jewish family. His grandmother was born into a Greek Orthodox Christian family. Benruby graduated from Ripple High School in Indianapolis.
