Harnai [1] [2] [3] ( Urdu رنائی , Pashto رنای ) is a city in central Pakistan , in the province of Balochistan . The administrative center of the same district .

Geography
The city is located in the northern part of Baluchistan, in a mountainous area, at an altitude of 875 meters above sea level [1] . Harnai is located approximately 87 kilometers east of Quetta , the provincial capital, and 610 kilometers south-west of Islamabad , the country's capital. In summer, the air temperature can rise up to 48˚C, and in winter it can fall down to −2˚C.
The nearest civil airport is in Sibi [1] .
Population
According to the census, in 1998 the population was 9,349 people [3] ; Pashtuns (90%) and Balochi (10%) prevail in the national composition.
