Songs

  • The anthem “Chains and Leather” is one of the earliest songs of Running Wild and was written by Rolf Kasparek around 1980 . It was originally recorded in 1983 at the Preußen studio along with the song Adrian (SOS) and the musicians were very unhappy with the result. Nevertheless, this option entered the “Heavy Metal Like a Hammerblow” demo. Album view was received along with the rest of the songs during studio sessions in August 1985, and in 1990 it was re-recorded for the “ Wild Animal ” mini-album.
  • In the lyrics of the song “Mordor”, perhaps for the first time, the inhabitants of Mordor are presented as a positive side [2] .
  • The songs “Branded and Exiled”, “Fight the Oppression” and “Marching to Die” in 1991 were re-recorded by the composition of that time and published on the compilation “ The First Years Of Piracy ” [3] .
