Career
She started weightlifting at the age of 11 [2] . In 2009, she won the silver medal at the junior world championship in the category up to 58 kg. In 2010, she took the 4th place at the Asian Games (in the category up to 69 kg) and became the 6th in the World Championships in the category up to 63 kg. In 2011, she took 3rd place in the junior world championship in the category up to 63 kg. At the 2012 Olympics, she won the gold medal in the category up to 69 kg [3] .
At the beginning of November 2018, at the World Championships in Ashgabat Lim in the weight category up to 76 kg won the absolute silver medal, taking the total weight of 269 kg. At the same time, she won the exercise by taking the weight of 119 kg, and in the jerk she won a small silver medal with a weight on the bar of 150 kg, while the last approach to the 153 kg was behind her, but she failed to fix the weight and fell on the platform Chinese athlete just one test kilogram.
Younger sister Lim Eun Sim is also engaged in weightlifting.
