Omar Godines Lanso ( Spanish: Omar Godinez Lanso ) is a Cuban conceptualist and postmodern artist , painter and cartoonist .

Born in Havana ( Cuba ) in 1953 , now lives with his wife Olga in Moscow, has a daughter. He graduated from the San Alejandro School of Art in Havana, majoring in Drawing and Painting, Moscow State Art Institute. V. I. Surikov , specialty "Poster, illustration and design of the book." Qualified graphic artist and the title of Master of Arts. He also graduated from international silk - screen printing courses in the workshop of Rene Portocarero in Havana. He is a member of the International Federation of Artists UNESCO ( International Federation of Artists UNESCO ) and the Moscow Union of Artists, curator of the festival of Ibero-American culture.

He participated in the translation of the film by Mikhail Kosyrev-Nesterov "Ocean". Omar Godines was a long-term member of the jury in the Design nomination of the Muses of the World Contest [1] .
