Career
In the early nineties, Lonow stopped working as an actress and retrained as a screenwriter and producer. Her first great success was the comedy series "Sudden Awakening" with Sherilyn Fenn and Lynn Redgrave in the lead roles, coming out on Showtime from 1998 to 2001. Lonou was the author and one of the producers of the series. Her next author's project, the sitcom “Good Girls Not ...”, lasted only one short season on the air. From 2003 to 2006, Lonou was the producer of the series “ Klava, come on! "And also wrote the script for several episodes. The next two years she produced a regular sitcom called War in the House, and in 2008 the drama series Cashmere Mafia . In 2012, Claudia Lonou immediately sold two of her projects to ABC . The first one is a semi-autobiographical screen “ How to live the rest of your life with your parents ” with Sarah Chock and Elizabeth Perkins , based on Lohnow’s personal experience [1] , and the second is Counter Culture [2] . Counter Culture never received the green light for the further production of the series due to the injury of one of the main roles, Delta Burke [3] , and remained in the pilot stage, and “ How to live the rest of my life with my parents ” was ordered to broadcast [4] .
