Bastemi Aitkozhauli ( 1874 , aul Kentubek - 1903 ) - Islamic religious leader, poet, representative of the Abay creative school [1] .

Biography
Bastemi Aitkozhauly was born in 1874 in the village of Kentubek, now in the May district of Pavlodar region [2] . He studied for 7 years in Bukhara , and returned to his homeland at 23.
Kentubek opened a mosque in his native aul and built a madrassah with her, where 80 students could study at the same time. The mosque-madrasah has turned into an educational center.
He was buried in a large cemetery in the village of Kentubek, next to a relative of Baki Basarula.
In 1990, a marble monument was erected by descendants. [3]
