- March 1 - the 7th station of the Helsinki Metro - “ Kamppi ” ( Fin. Kamppi , Swede. Kampen ) was opened.
- April 16 - 3 Munich Underground stations opened :

- There are now 41 stations in Munich .
- April 23 - Lille Metro opened .
- May 28 - the fourth line is open Munich Metro with 3 stations:
