The chair with Aba Vua located in the gothic cathedral
Aba-vois ( fr. Abat-voix ) - an architectural element that is typical for the interior of Catholic churches (primarily made in the Gothic style ), which is a ceiling canopy of a special configuration over the department . In addition to a purely decorative role, Aba-vois also performed a sound-reinforcing function: amplifying and directing sound vibrations, he helped to ensure that the preacher’s voice reached the audience without freezing in the high arches of the temple [1] .
