Biography
Hector Katri was born on October 27, 1889 in Belgium . After high school, he entered the Franciscan monastery of the Capuchins. After receiving a theological education, Hector Katri was ordained a priest on June 6, 1914 .
On March 28, 1928, Pope Pius XI appointed Hector Katri as bishop of the Diocese of Lahore. On October 28, 1928 he was ordained a bishop.
In 1964 he participated in the III and IV sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
On July 4, 1947, he retired and was appointed titular bishop of Semty .
He died on March 18, 1972 in Lahore, Pakistan.
