Grin, Vladislav Konstantinovich

Vladislav Konstantinovich Grin (born December 5, 1961 ) [1] - Doctor of Medical Sciences (1999), Professor, Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Doctor of Ukraine [2] , State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Engineering (2013) [3] . Organizer of science and healthcare, cardiologist.

Scientific activity

He graduated from the Donetsk State Medical Institute named after M. Gorky . He worked as a cardiorematologist in the Shakhtyorsk district hospital of Donetsk region . In 1986 he began working in the Regional Central Clinical Hospital [4] .

In 1987 he defended his thesis, in 1999 at the Kharkov Medical University - a doctoral thesis on the topic: “Heart pathology in inflammatory joint diseases (prevalence, diagnosis, pathogenesis, treatment)” [5] . Head of the Department of General Practice of Family Medicine of Donetsk Medical University .

In 2002-2016 Director of the Institute of Emergency and Reconstructive Surgery named after V.K. Gusak . Under his leadership, a unique laboratory for cell and tissue cultivation began to operate at the Gusak INVHC, and the Biostem international center was organized. Particularly successfully developed cardiological and cardiosurgical, burn and other services. So, in December 2009, for the first time in Ukraine, with the help of stem cells, they began to treat coronary heart disease; similar operations are performed only in 20 cities of the world [6] . In the burn center, thanks to artificially grown skin, patients with almost one hundred percent thermal lesions of the body surface are treated.

In 2007, he was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine for the introduction of cellular technologies in medicine, the organization of a stem cell transplantation service, the creation of an international biotechnology center [7] . On September 13, 2010 he was elected a full member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine [8] .

The author of 276 scientific papers, 13 monographs, including those devoted to cell therapy [9] and 31 inventions , prepared 6 candidates and 4 doctors of medical sciences [10] . Editor-in-chief of the journal "International Herald of Medicine" [11] , the journal "Bulletin of Emergency and Restorative Medicine."

The author of the portal “Growth Windows” [12] , which implements the author’s method [13] of providing a positive emotional background using individually organized rational behavior [14] .

The author of the art trilogy "The Game of Self" released in 2015. [fifteen]

One of the authors of the idea of ​​online medical consultation. He currently leads the international telemedicine project Botkin.pro, an online medical video consultation service. [16]
