Brian Gerard James ( born Brian Girard James , born May 20, 1969 ) is an American wrestler and former US Marine [1] . Currently works as a WWE producer.

James is known for his work in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the pseudonym The Roadie from 1994 to 1995, and as the Road Dog from Jesse James from 1996 to 2001. He also performed at Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the name Bee. Gee. James (born BG James ) from 2002 to 2009.

James has won many titles in his 30-year career. He became the WWF / E team champion 6 times with Billy Gunn in the New Age Outlaws team, which was part of D-Generation X. He also became WWF Intercontinental and Hardcore Champion . At TNA, James was a two-time NWA world team champion in the 3Live Kru team with Connan and Ron Killings. [2] Member of the WWE Hall of Fame since 2019 as part of D-Generation X.

James is a second-generation wrestler, his father is Bullet Bob Armstrong, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame since 2011.

Personal life

James served in the US Marine Corps from 1987 to 1993 and took part in Operation Desert Storm in 1991, where he was deputy platoon commander [3] .

James is married and has three children [4] .

According to James, he always had problems with drugs . In high school, he started smoking marijuana , and already while in the wrestling group D-Generation X, he used painkillers. After he was removed and then fired from WWF, he began rehabilitation from drug addiction [5] .
