(22203) Profenor ( dr. Greek Προθοήνωρ ) is a typical Trojan asteroid of Jupiter moving at Lagrange point L 4 , 60 ° ahead of the planet. The asteroid was discovered on September 24, 1960 by American astronomers K. J. van Houten , I. van Houten-Gruneveld and Tom Guerls at the Palomar Observatory and named after Profoenor , one of the characters in ancient Greek mythology [1] .
