Two-lipped flowers

Bilobate flowers - one of the five types of flowers of plants of the family Compositae ( lat. Compositae ). These are bisexual or unisexual flowers with a rather long corolla tube, from which the upper lip, consisting of two free teeth, and the lower lip, which is a tongue with three teeth at the top, extend. Apparently, it was the two-lipped flowers that were the source for the false-lingual flowers . Such flowers are possessed, for example, by nassuvia ( Nassauuia ) [1] .
