Multiple participant in the championships of Bulgaria. The best result - 2nd place at the 5th championship in 1937 . As part of the Bulgarian national team, he participated in the 8th Olympiad ( 1939 ) in Buenos Aires (he showed the best result on the 4th board in the final B).
