“Madonna Diotalevi” is a painting by the Italian Renaissance artist Raphael , painted in 1504 . The name comes from the name of the first owner of the painting - Diotalevi di Rimini. The painting shows the Virgin Mary with the baby Jesus in her arms, blessing John the Baptist .
