Biography
Valentina Rosenberg was born on October 4 ( October 17 ), 1915 in Petrograd . She studied at the Leningrad Choreographic College with teachers from Catherine Gendenreich , Marina Semenova and Maria Romanova . After graduating in 1931, she was accepted into the troupe of the Leningrad Academic Maly Opera House , where she danced until 1959. She performed both the main parts in ballet performances and dances in operas.
Died on April 27, 1977 in Leningrad .
