Vladimir Alexandrovich Shikhanov was born on March 16, 1957.
In “Torpedo” came in 1980 from Kazan SK named after Uritsky . Speaking for Lada (Torpedo), he played 693 matches and scored 320 goals, gaining 563 points in the goal + pass system. In 1990, when the team was renamed "Lada" , he was elected its first captain. At the age of 35, he left the team and played one season in Slovakia [1] .
In 1993, he organized the veteran team Torpedo-93, becoming its coach and captain. In 2000, she became the owner of the World Cup among veterans in Vancouver ( Canada ).
In the summer of 2000, he became one of the coaches of the Samara Air Force Central Command .
Coached the Trans-Urals team from 2010 to 2013.
Since 2013, he coached the team of the Air Force Central Command (Samara) . He played for Torpedo and Lada for 11 seasons, played 693 matches, scored 320 goals, made 243 assists with 563 points. This record still remains unsurpassed.
For his contribution to the development of hockey, Vladimir Alexandrovich was awarded a memorial sign in honor of the 65th anniversary of domestic hockey.
In 2015, he became the head coach of the Rook MCC - the Lada farm club .
