General Information
The tour project was presented in 2012. At the presentation, it was stated that the tour competitions will have a prize pool of $ 125,000. The tour was built into the gradation of the women's professional tour competitions, taking prize and rating points between the tournaments of the previous (now - main) WTA tour and ITF tournaments , aiming at a greater representation of professional tournaments in developing countries with a large fan and sponsor base, as well as for providing low-ranking players with an additional opportunity to score points and prize money in competitions during the off-season of the main WTA tour.
The first competition of the tour was a tournament in the capital of Taiwan , previously included in the ITF calendar.
