Martin Sturfelt ( Swedish: Martin Sturfält ; born 1979 , Katrineholm ) is a Swedish pianist.

He graduated from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the Guildhall School of Music in London; student, in particular, Ronan O'Hora . Laureate of several pianistic competitions in Sweden and the UK. Concerts from the age of eleven.
He won international recognition mainly as a popularizer of Swedish music - first of all, the works of Wilhelm Stenhammar (among other things, Sturfelt prepared for publication the previously unpublished Sonata in G minor) and Adolf Wiklund ; Sturfelt's albums of each were released on Hyperion Records .
He worked with such conductors as Mark Elder , Andrew Manze , Vasily Sinaisky , Alexander Vedernikov . He is also known for many years of performing in duets: with pianist Oscar Ekberg and cellist Marie MacLeod.
