Albania announced on July 25, 2012 that it will participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 , held in Amsterdam , the Netherlands . [1] Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH), as the only member of the European Broadcasting Union in Albania, was the organizer of the selection process for the first Albanian participant. The debut was supposed to take place in 2005 , but for unknown reasons [?] Albania did not submit an application.
