The Ilyinsky Bridge is a bridge across the Tom River on the Ilyinsky and Byzovsky Highways in Novokuznetsk , which connects the Novoilinsky District with the West Siberian Metallurgical Plant and the right-bank part of the city - the Zavodsky District .

History
The project of a large Ilyinsky residential area near the village of Ilyinka, Novokuznetsk district, was developed back in 1944, but it has not been implemented for a long time due to the need for many serious preparatory and construction works - primarily the bridge over the Tom River for communication with other parts of the city. In 1957, a preliminary design of the residential area was carried out, but in decision No. 16 of the Executive Committee of the Kemerovo Regional Council of January 9, 1959. “On the scheme for reviewing the Ilyinsky industrial region,” it was written that “the question of using the Ilyinsky site needs to be solved additionally, when there are real opportunities the construction of a bridge in the area of the village of Bedarevo . "
The construction of the bridge was started in 1964 . The bridge was built by a bridge train number 450 according to the so-called. progressive adhesive technology with a gradual build-up of reinforced concrete blocks-spans from each support in both directions. Using this unique technology, only three bridges were built in Russia.

In the 1980s, it was planned, but the construction of a light rail line over the bridge was not implemented.
