The soundtrack was released after the release of The Massacre 's second multi-platinum album, and he became the third rapper whose soundtrack climbed to the top of the Billboard 200 chart that year. The other two soundtracks were Snoop Doggy Dogg in 1994, with Doggystyle : Murder Was the Case , and Eminem in 2002 with The Eminem Show : 8 Mile .

Singles
- The first single from the soundtrack " Hustler's Ambition ". It's 50 Cent's favorite song from the album, which reached number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100 . In this song, 50 Cent talks about his hard life as he grew up. And how he had to fuss to keep up with life.
- The second single, “ Window Shopper, ” reached number 20 on the Hot 100 chart. In the new version of the song, he dissected Ja Rule , Jadakiss, Nas and Fat Joe (50 Cent was at odds with these rappers during the release of the single).
- The third single, " Best Friend, " reached number 35 on the Hot 100 chart. The song is used in the film as Marcus’s path, where he flirts with Charlene.
- “ Have a Party” - the fourth single from the album was released on March 2, 2006. The main performer of the song is Mobb Deep . The single peaked at number 105 on the Hot 100 chart and was the least successful single from the album.
- “ I'll Whip Ya Head Boy ” is the fifth and final single from the album, released May 24, 2006. In this song, besides 50 Cent, there is Young Buck and the MOP single peaked at number 74 on the Hot 100 chart. A lot of remixes were made on this single.
