Mesophiles

Mesophiles are organisms that grow best at moderate temperatures , in not too hot, but not very cold conditions, usually between 20 and 45 ° C [1] . The term is used in relation to microorganisms.

Among the habitats of mesophilic microorganisms , cheese and yogurt can be especially distinguished; in addition, such organisms are often involved in the preparation of beer and wine .

Zheng et al. Proposed a variety of bacteria to be classified into mesophiles and thermophiles [2] .

In botany (in plant ecology) plants that are adapted to the conditions of medium moisture (that is, mesophyte plants) are sometimes called mesophilous.
