Gangsta Wars ( English "Gangster Wars" ) - a modification for the 1998 Half-Life computer game , developed by enthusiasts and focused on a multiplayer game ; presumably the 1930s and the theme of gangster wars are exploited as the main stylistics. Like most other modifications for Half-Life , Gangsta Wars does not prevent the launch of the original game and does not modify any game files. It was released in 2001 .

Gameplay
The gameplay of the modification of Gangsta Wars is primarily focused on a multiplayer game . The basic principles of the game are similar to those in other online shooters, for example, Counter Strike . Management is standard with the keyboard and mouse .
Game Modes
The game can be played in several modes:
- "Don protection" - (usually cards with the beginning of "don_") players are divided into two teams. In each team, a so-called don is randomly selected, which the opposing team must destroy and protect its own. Once the don is destroyed, the round begins anew; the team that killed the don will be awarded points and the don will be re-selected.
- “Holding the suitcase” - at the level is hidden a suitcase , for the finding of which they give points. For holding a suitcase by a player, points are awarded to him; at the same time, other players will receive points for killing a person with a suitcase.
- “ Last man standing ” - the round continues until only one player is left alive. The deceased players are watching the rest. At the beginning of the round, all players are reborn again.
- " Deathmatch " - a classic mode, often used in other multiplayer shooters , in which players fight against each other, without division into teams.
