Biography
Born in 1919 in the village of Chichkovo near Aril in a poor peasant family. After graduating from school, he took up farming, helping relatives and friends. In June 1941 he joined the Arilian partisan company of the Uzhitsky partisan detachment, with which he participated in all battles of 1941. In November he was admitted to the Union of Communist Youth of Yugoslavia, and then to the Communist Party of Yugoslavia .
He showed great courage in various battles. So, in January 1942, on a river Uvats on Pavlovitsky bridge, his company was attacked by chetniks. Radosh with his light machine gun sat in the snow and opened fire on the enemy. The Chetniks suffered great damage, and Radosh himself with great difficulty climbed out of the snowdrifts. On March 1, 1942, the 2nd proletarian shock brigade was formed in Chaynich , which included Radosh (in the 2nd company of the 1st battalion). Many battles took place with the brigade, including the battle at Manyach in September 1942, when Radosh and his company unexpectedly hit the enemy rear. At the end of 1942, in the battle of Livno, he likewise fired at the enemy’s positions with a light machine gun, opening the way for attack.
He died in the battle of Sutjeske on May 31, 1943 near Tientishte. The title of People’s Hero was posthumously assigned to him on July 7, 1953 . In his honor, the native village of Chichkovo was later renamed Radoshevo .
