Deschayon-sur-Saint-Laurent is located in the tourist area of Central Quebec, 183 km from Montreal and 89 km from the city of Quebec [1] . The municipality is located on highway 132 [2] .
Title
The municipality is named after the landowner Pierre de Saint-Urs-de-l'Escalion ( fr. Pierre de Saint-Ours de L'Éschaillon ) in Dauphin in France .
