Ukshozero (Ukshezero, Uksha) is a lake in Karelia , on the border of Kondopoga (northern part of the lake) and Prionezhsky (southern part) districts.

The shape is irregular, stretched from the north-west to the south-east, a large bay - Surguba . The shores are high, stony-sandy. The lake has 14 islands with a total area of 0.56 km². The long-term maximum amplitude of the level fluctuations is 2.61 m, the average is 1.88 m. [2]
The main inflow is through the artificial Kosalma channel from Lake Konchezero . In the south-eastern part of the lake is connected by a channel with the river Shuya . The bottom soil is mostly silty; lake ore is found; in the coastal zone, the soil is stony-sandy.
Higher aquatic vegetation is represented by reed in bays.
Whitefish, bream, pike, whitefish, perch, burbot, roach, ruff live in the lake. Salmon periodically rises from the Shuya River to the lake.
