Baku Tennis Academy ( azerb. Bakı tennis akademiyası ) is a tennis academy in the capital of Azerbaijan , Baku . Located in the 8th microdistrict of the city, on Ibragim Dadashev Street , it has been operating since 2009 . The construction of the academy lasted a little over a year, the opening, at which the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev delivered a speech, took place on May 5, 2009 .

On June 30, 2011 the opening of the central court of the academy took place, in which the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva again took part. This construction area of 5.5 thousand square meters began to be erected in February 2010 .
The academy has all the conditions for holding not only tennis competitions, but also volleyball , handball and mini-football competitions, as well as for organizing concerts. There is also a pool and a gym in the tribune rooms.
