Battle Path

Harbin's defense was initially successful, as the armies opposed only the forces of Manzhou-Guo . However, then Japanese troops came, led by Jiro Tamon , and Harbin had to leave. Ding Chao, with his exhausted soldiers, moved north-east along the Sungari to join Li Du's troops . In April 1932, they together reorganized 30,000 people into 9 brigades. they continued to resist, occupying cities along the CER (between Harbin and the Soviet border).
