Lamborghini Islero is a sports car produced by Lamborghini from 1968 to 1970 as a replacement for the Lamborghini 400GT model.

Islero - the nickname of a fighting bull hails from the Miura ranch (a car with the same name - Lamborghini Miura ) was produced in parallel with Lamborghini , who killed the matador Manuel Rodriguez during the bullfight on August 28, 1947 .
Islero GT
The car was first shown at the Geneva Auto Show in 1968 .
In terms of design, this car is a revision of the 400GT designer Mario Marazzi .
Only 125 cars of basic modification were produced.
Islero GTS
In 1969, a modification of the Islero GTS. The difference in technical terms was to increase the engine power to 350 hp, although the torque remained unchanged - 289 N · m (at 5500 rpm). This allowed to increase the maximum speed by 10 km / h.
Until April 15, 1970, a total of 100 Islero GTS vehicles were assembled.
