Story
Desiring to return Sam's soul, Dean makes a deal with Death. He must put on the Death ring, not take it off the day and take the souls of those whose term has come. Death promises that it will establish a barrier in Sam's memory, blocking access to memories of being in hell . Meanwhile, Sam learns how to make sure that the soul could not return to the body - you need to become a father-killer. A father does not have to be hard-earned. Sam comes to Bobby, who is like a father to him.
Dean takes the soul of a robber who was shot while trying to rob a store, and a fat man who died of a heart attack. It is time to die a 12-year-old girl with a heart condition. She is everything that her father has. Dean refuses, the girl is recovering, but the course of things is disturbed, and the nurse who was supposed to have a heart operation gets into an accident. In order not to get worse, Dean takes her soul. The nurse’s husband, realizing that she’s dead, gets drunk and begins to drive in a car. To save his life, Dean is forced to remove the ring. In the end, Dean takes the girl’s soul.
Sam fails to catch Bobby by surprise. Bobby is hiding in the closet. Sam knocks open the door with an ax, but Bobby opens a secret hatch in the floor and Sam falls into the basement. In the fall, he injured his leg, blood flows from it. He cannot break the door to the basement, but he finds another way. Bobby discovers this, goes after him and notices that Sam has left traces of blood. When Bobby opens the gate to the barn, Sam knocks him out. But when Sam is about to kill Bobby, Dean appears and stops him. Sam is tied up and locked up.
Death asks Dean if he could kill that girl if he could start over. Dean replies that, knowing what he knows now, he could. Then Death says that he goes to Hell for a soul. When asked by Dean, Death answers that “It is all about the souls. You will understand when the time is right. ” Death returns Sam's soul.
